Grand Aegean in Grey Oaks, Naples

The Grand Aegean emulates the exquisite architectural elements of classic Greco-Roman design, proving its relevance for today's finest homes.

The exterior of the Grand Aegean heavily emphasizes symmetry and balance within the context of grandeur. A brick paver driveway lined with Royal Palms leads to the home's focal point, the semi-circular portico supported by four keystone columns. Garages on both sides of the home serve to frame the portico and lushly landscaped motor court. Cast keystone window surrounds, keystone quoins, keystone crown and frieze enhance the home's splendor.

Inside, the dining room and library are symmetrically placed on each side of the foyer. Each room has richly-appointed carved ceiling moldings, a chandelier ceiling medallion, chair rail and panel molding.

The library's design reflects that of the presidential Oval Office with distinguished built-in shelves and cabinetry as well as a door leading to a garage disguised as part of the room's curved wall. The dining room, also oval-shaped, has two lighted display cabinets and a built-in breakfront unit and matching decorative mirror.

Two tapered keystone columns frame the living room, which contains a fireplace with a keystone mantel and marble surround flanked by base cabinets and bookshelves. This room's back wall offers a view of the pool through two glass doors, a large, fixed-glass window and an arch-topped transom window. This room also contains three-piece crown molding, panel molding and chair rail.

The highlight of the spacious leisure room is the 90-degree angle, floating corner of sliding glass doors overlooking the pool. A built-in television cabinet houses a surround-sound system that transmits sound throughout the home. The adjacent breakfast nook has a semi-circular, mitered glass window overlooking the pool.

The kitchen contains a SubZero refrigerator, corner cook top with decorative vent, elevated dishwasher, planning desk, center island with vegetable sink and large window overlooking the pool area.

The master suite contains another large, built-in television cabinet adjacent to a semi-circular mitered glass wall. An adjoining exercise room, accessible through double French doors, provides built-in cabinetry under two expansive corner walls of glass. A door from this room allows access to the pool area.

The master bath includes a dress area with a built-in, six-drawer dresser and two spacious walk-in closets with European modular shelving, a floor safe and a built-in dresser. The marbled bath contains a soaking tub overlooking a privacy garden, a double-sided island dresser, his-and-hers vanities, built-in television niche, full-size wall mirror, double-headed shower, private water closet with bidet and linen closet, and vaulted ceiling.

Additional special features of the Grand Aegean include: a walk-in cooler designed to store several hundred bottles of wine, a pool cabana with a private bath, a lavish outdoor kitchen, Travertine marble tile flooring, and granite counter tops in the kitchen, wet bar, dining room buffet and master retreat. Each guest bedroom has a private bath, large closets and access to a keystone terrace overlooking a decorative fountain and a semicircular turf and garden area.

The home includes four bedrooms, five-and-a-half baths, two garages and 4,827 square feet of air-conditioned living space. With 7,300 total square feet.
